The 5th Memorial Vicente Sebastián will be played on 2-3rd July in Menorca, Spain. The time control will be 15 minutes + 5 seconds per move per player, and the tournament format will be Swiss, 8 or 9 rounds, depending on the number of signups. Maximum 120 players will be accepted.

The 4th Memorial Vicente Sebastian will take place on 2nd and 3rd July 2010 at the Sala multiusos Fornells in Menorca, Spain. The time control will be 15 minutes + 5 seconds per move per player, and the tournament will be played over 8 or 9 rounds, depending on the number of participants (maximum 120). Grandmaster lectures and arbiter seminars are set to take place on the morning of 3rd July.

Last year winner GM Kiril Georgiev arrives directly from Marrakech International Chess Tournament, while his main challenger will be experienced GM Julio Granda Zuniga. Brazilian players Aleksandr Fier and Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian will move to Spain after Eforie-Nord, Romania.

Top prizes are: 1º. 1.200 euros, 2º. 900 euros, 3º. 700 euros, 4º. 600 euros, 5º. 500 euros, 6º. 400 euros, 7º. 300 euros and 8º. 250 euros. In addition, there are prizes for best woman, local players, and various junior categories.
