2008 Chess Olympiad in Dresden

The Chess Olympiad 2008 starts today in Dresden with a record number of participating nations. According to the official site there will be 149 countries represented and a total of 1345 players. More than half of them are titled, as there are 245 GMs, 69 WGMs, 169 IMs, etc.
