Open to all the players from about 70 countries belonging to the “Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie” (OIF), www.francophonie.org

6th European Union championship (open, 9 rounds) – www.scacchivda.com

Open to all players from the countries belonging to European Union, with wild card for players from Croatia, Fyrom and Turkey, but without the right to the title.

Livigno Open

September 10-18th, Livigno (Sondrio, Valtellina)

Open A for players rated higher than 2000 elo, Open B for players U2000 elo, Open C for unrated players

Livigno is very well known as touristic skiing town. It is said “the little Tibet”. A few kilometers from the city lies the village of Trepalle, at 2250 meters above sea level, the highest inhabited place of Europe!
